| The Front End Module Programming , Porting and
Integration Manual provides full details on the Front End Module . This
allows a good understanding of the features and capabilities of the Front
End Module to be gained . The scripts are developed using the Application
Scripts Project . The scripts can be executed ( displayed ) using the
Evaluation Project
or the Executeable . |
|
| The Manual has been designed to be concise -
as such attention has to be paid to associated sections - such as the command
parameter encoding methods - in order to get a fuller understanding of the
capabilities of the Front End Module . Cross referencing between sections
has been included . Encoding of the commands is very easy . The design of
the commands and parameter encoding is such that the Module is very sophisticated
and very powerful in operation . The application and script files supplied
can also be used as examples of how to construct the scripts and to link
to the application . |
|
| Please Note |
:- |
the purpose of the Front End Module is to handle
the Layout and the Data Input and to Define the Rendering but not
to handle the rendering . The rendering is handled by the GDI functions
. As such the quality of the rendering is dependent on the quality
of these functions . The Display Device Driver - GDI - supplied with
this project is just a basic GDI designed to provide a means to test
and demonstrate the operation of the Front End Module . |
