Application Scripts Project

The Application Scripts Project is an MSVC++ project that provides the means for compiling the scripts into binary files . This provides the means to construct , compile and test the Application Scripts on the Module . The Application Scripts are written using the supplied command and data macros and the script commands . The ApplicationScripts.c file can be easily modified to allow the commands to be tried out . The project is then compiled and executed thus producing the .idf file . The scripts can be executed ( displayed ) using the Evaluation Project or the Executeable . A full description of the commands is contained in the Manual . The application and script files supplied provide examples of how to construct the scripts and to link to the application .
The Application Scripts can be compiled using any C or C++ compiler and can be compiled as part of the Front End Module code or as separate NVM - eg. Flash Disk - files . The scripts can be executed from ROM or downloaded into RAM .

To down load - use the ' Save Target As ... ' function on the right click button then open the zip file and extract the files .

Please Note :- the purpose of the Front End Module is to handle the Layout and the Data Input and to Define the Rendering but not to handle the rendering . The rendering is handled by the GDI functions . As such the quality of the rendering is dependent on the quality of these functions . The Display Device Driver - GDI - supplied with this project is just a basic GDI designed to provide a means to test and demonstrate the operation of the Front End Module .
 
Please Note :- the Module is currently being converted over to C++ . This is basically complete . Debugging has commenced . Tidying up and expansions will be carried out when time permits - in between other work commitments .
